Kristine Lilly Always Believe!

My name is Morgan and I am from just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am 15 and I really hope to break into professional soccer, but it seems that most of the pros were on the younger national teams or somewhere up there at my age and I just wanted to know if it will still be possible for me to get noticed during high school or even college. I have such a big passion for the game and I really want to make it a big part of my life. I play any chance I can get but in the off season it becomes really difficult with the snow and ice. It’s something that always makes me feel like I’m at home when I’m out on the field and if I could play all day everyday, I would. Thank you, Morgan

Hey Morgan, I first got noticed when I was in high school. I was 16 when I made the National Team. I think it is possible to get noticed at anytime. We had some players make the team that got noticed in the WUSA, when the league was still around. So there are always people looking out for new talent to help make our National Team better. Plus with the Womens Professional League, coming back it is another opportunity to get noticed by the National coaches. In the meantime enjoy the game, work hard and have fun. I know what it is like in the cold months, I spent many of hours in my high school gym in Wilton kicking against the wall and dribbling and juggling. Keep up the good work, Kristine
